Le Fortunate Foundation was founded by women who understand the profound connection between health, intention, and leadership. Our founders come from diverse backgrounds in wellness, longevity, philanthropy, and community-building, united by a shared vision.
PRESIDENT
With more than 30 years as a family physician and professor of medicine, Dr. Sarah Relyea Logan has dedicated her career to improving how healthcare is delivered.
Trained in Canada, where universal access shaped her community first approach, she was struck by the gaps she saw after moving to the United States. In 2023, she founded Portico Longevity in Charleston, South Carolina, a direct primary care practice designed around patients rather than insurance.
As founder and president of Le Fortunate Foundation, she advances wellness and equity so healing, community, and dignity centered care are accessible to every woman who needs them.
SECRETARY
Jeanne Sheffield brings more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience, blending strategy, storytelling, and mission driven impact.
She has led brand development, fundraising efforts, and major campaigns and events across Fortune 100 companies and community focused nonprofits. As a founding member of Le Fortunate Foundation, Jeanne helps shape the foundation’s voice, outreach, and growth.
Her work reflects a commitment to dignity centered care and to building institutions that serve women with excellence and compassion. She believes meaningful change happens when beauty, courage, and conviction meet strong leadership, and she is honored to help build a foundation that reflects all three.
